COMPANY BACKGROUND

TUASON AUTO PAINT TECHNOLOGY, INC or TAPTI was established in June, 1997 is the offspring of a previous company called ARTHUR TUASON AUTO DEVELOPMENTS, INC. the same company from whose humble beginnings as an English Ford hi performance tuner evolved as a franchised Ford Rallye Sport dealer and later on (in 1991) revolutionized the car refinishing industry when it introduced  hi-technology auto paint    refinishing system and products  (the 2K Auto Paint system), the result of which was a durable, high gloss car refinish and an invisible repair for damaged car panels. Because of its seemingly wet finish, the company eventually came to be known as THE WET LOOK. The void left by the demise of its founder, Arthur P. Tuason was cause for the dissolution of the company in early 1997.

To instill the legacy of Arthur P. Tuason, a majority of the incorporators of the now defunct Arthur Tuason Auto Developments, Inc. decided in June, 1997 it was time to continue his good work, Thus, the establishment of TUASON AUTO PAINT TECHNOLOGY, Inc.

SERVICES

A few years ago TAPTI engaged in automotive paint contracting work at one of country's major automotive manufacturing firms where its painting and refinishing operations produced 130 AUVs, 16 buses and 20 vans monthly. TAPTI also did paint contractual work at The Central Body and Paint shop of one of the biggest selling Japanese car brands locally.

In July 2000, TAPTI  finally opened its doors to its new WET LOOK Body and Paint shop in Makati City, the Philippines' main hub of business and society to offer the same quality  auto body repair and refinishing that the late Arthur Tuason and The Wet Look was known for.
